Since 2015 Claire Luzia Leifert has been a program officer at the Robert Bosch Center for Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia at the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP). There, she works for the Carl Friedrich Goerdeler-Kolleg for Good Governance. Since November 2018, she is also head of DGAP’s Method Cluster, which supports the development of new formats and offers further training for DGAP employees. 

Before joining DGAP, she worked for two years at the Heinrich Böll Foundation as a project manager in the fields of social policy and education and science policy. Since 2006, she has been working as a freelance project manager and trainer at home and abroad, focusing on democracy and active civil society, Europe and public innovation.
Claire Luzia Leifert studied European Studies and International Relations in Maastricht, Montreal, Berlin and Vancouver. She is an alumna at the HPI School of Design Thinking, a certified adult education trainer (Artop) and a Senior Fellow at Humanity in Action. From 2016 to 2018 she was an honorary member of the executive board of MitOst e.V.
